PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The person achieving this unit standard will be able to adapt existing spaces in the community for utilisation as a facility in the sports context. The learner will do this by recognising, identifying and creatively adapting existing resources as a facility and equipment.
In particular, on completion of this unit standard, the learner is able to: Competent qualifying learners, who achieve this standard in conjunction with appropriate related standards in the qualification and at level 5, will be able to effectively adapt available spaces in communities thereby improving the health and ability of communities and contribute to the general improvement of sport in South Africa in general. |
