| PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
| This unit standard will be useful for people who work, or intend to work, in a manufacturing and packaging environment, where they will be responsible for the lubrication of machinery.

| 3. The machinery is inspected to check if lubrication is necessary, and any differences from normal equipment performance are noted and reported immediately |
