PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard will be useful to people who are responsible to coordinate the loading of coal in an underground coal mine.

People credited with this unit standard are able to:
  • Demonstrate an understanding to load coal phase.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the shut down procedure of the loading operation.
  • Demonstrate teamwork in loading coal.
