PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is aimed at individuals involved in leading of physical activities in the context of outdoor education or development training or the context of sport development. Qualifying learners will be able to conduct planning within the context of an already outlined programme, prepare to lead the activity, prepare equipment, and clothing and take the necessary precautions to protect the environment.
Successful learners who will be able to prepare thoroughly prior to leading physical activities will contribute to the efficient, optimum and safe conduct of these activities.
