    The process of finding or receiving of property is described in terms of organisational procedures, standards and current legislation. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Process refers to: from the moment of time of finding or receiving of property by a member until handing in at the relevant office.
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    The process after receiving of property from relevant office is described terms of organisational procedures, standards and current legislation. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Process refers to: from the moment of time of finding or receiving it from a member until such time the property is handed over to the evidence storage official.

    The purpose of registers and forms relevant to the receiving of property is described in terms of organisational procedures, standards and current legislation.

    Property transfer register, exhibits register, disposal of stolen property form, indemnity forms, notice to collect property forms and temporary receipt.

    The various types of property in possession are handled according to organisational procedures, standards and current legislation. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    The types of property refer but not limited to:

    Bankcards, cash, found property, suspected stolen goods (perishable and non-perishable), gems, dangerous substances, firearms, vehicles, identity documents and passports.
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    The process of safekeeping of various types of property is described according to organisational procedures, standards and current legislation. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    The process of dealing with various types of property is described according to organisational procedures, standards and current legislation.
