PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The purpose of this Unit Standard is to enable construction plasterers to set out their work, prepare all types of surfaces for plastering, and to mix plaster, screed and grano. |

UNIT STANDARD RANGE |
1. Materials include sand, cementitious materials, lime, bonding agents, additives, water, etc.
2. Surfaces form part of or constitute entire walls, ceilings, floors, beams, columns, door and window openings, etc. 3. Protruding objects or contaminating agents are removed, scraped, chipped, etc. 4. Tools include steel and wood floats, trowels, wheelbarrows, buckets, mortar boards, hammers, spirit levels, plumb bobs, squares, screeding bar, nylon line, dumpy level, etc. |
