PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD

People credited with this unit standard are able to:

Form and use algebraic equations and inequalities to represent and solve practical and abstract problems;
Manipulate algebraic expressions to find equivalent forms; and
Select and use algebraic formulae to solve problems.
