3. Security risks identified are escalated to the relevant authority as per company specific requirements.

4. Control measures are continuously developed and updated to prevent possible security risks.

UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS 
1. Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.

2. Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard or assessing this unit standard must be accredited as a provider with the relevant ETQA.

3. Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation \ guidelines in the relevant qualification and the agreed ETQA procedures.

Therefore anyone wishing to be assessed against this unit standard may apply to be assessed by any assessment agency, assessor or provider institution which is accredited by the relevant ETQA.

  • Critical Cross-field Outcomes (CCFO): 

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO IDENTIFYING 
    The learner is able to identify and solve problems when determining potential security risks ensuring relevant and effective procedures are developed and implemented to minimise potential losses. 

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO WORKING 
    The learner is able to work effectively with other when dealing with suppliers and communicating procedures to all relevant parties, ensuring both suppliers and staff fully understand their roles in minimising security risks. 

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO ORGANISING 
    The learner is able to organise and manage his/her own activities to allow sufficient time for post incident analysis after every breach of security to minimise re-occurrence of the event. 

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO COMMUNICATING 
    The learner is able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing when documenting strategies to minimise security risk and providing updates and training to staff, so that all stakeholders fully understand their roles and duties.
