PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
Persons credited with this standard will be able to arrange for the recovery of a loss with a customer and monitor the customer's financial conduct.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
1. The customer is notified, in writing and in the manner required by the bank, of the need to contact the bank. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
2. A signed acknowledgement of debt is obtained from the customer according to the bank's policy. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
3. The process to repay the account is arranged with the customer as required by the bank's policy.

Including but not limited to period, method, amount.

4. Information about the control and monitoring of the repayment is recorded as required by the bank.

1. The customer's compliance with the arrangement is checked periodically as required by the bank.

2. The operation of the customer's account is monitored as required by the bank's policy to prevent any further losses.

Including but not limited to withdraw electronic facilities, hold on uncleared items reinstated.
 


UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS 
Accreditation process (including moderation):
  • Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.
  • Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard or assessing this unit standard must be accredited as a provider with the relevant ETQA.
  • Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation guidelines in the relevant qualification and the agreed ETQA procedures.

    Therefore anyone wishing to be assessed against this unit standard may apply to be assessed by any assessment agency, assessor or provider institution which is accredited by the relevant ETQA.

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO ORGANISING 
    The learner develops the ability to organise and manage oneself and one's activities responsibly and effectively when the customer's compliance with the arrangement is checked periodically as required by the bank. 

    UNIT STANDARD CCFO COMMUNICATING 
    The learner develops the ability to communicate effectively using visual, mathematical and language skills in the modes of oral and written presentations when a signed acknowledgement of debt is obtained from the customer according to the bank's policy.
