PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The person credited with this unit standard is able to document different types of requirements in a form that is testable. It will ensure the learner will use models to ensure completeness, correctness, testability and precision of requirements. Learners will also be able to discuss, different test design techniques to discover and test requirements and will be able to use a systematic scenario-based test design methodology to create test scenarios and test cases.

The qualifying learner is capable of:

  • Applying requirement-based test design techniques.
  • Using state models.
  • Using cases for discovering and testing requirements.
