PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Learners assessed against this unit standard will possess the skills and techniques required to prepare for security operations in a rural environment, participate in foot patrols, and demonstrate individual battle craft during contact with an opposing force. They will further be able to perform ambushes, raids and trench clearing operations within a team in a rural environment.
Persons credited with this unit standard will through the application of these skills enhance the capabilities of security organisations to maintain peace and security in the community. |
