Terminology: Specified requirements: Specified requirements include legal and site-specific requirements and are contained in one or more of the following documents: Legal: Site specific: Manage a core yard facility: Manage a core yard facility represents a complete managerial and technical process where the learner must ensure that all the required activities are conducted or executed in a safe and healthy manner and that all the requests of management are adhered to in accordance with the relevant work instructions received. It is expected of the learner to exhibit leadership characteristics in the presence of junior and senior personnel and to lead by example. A core yard facility: A core yard facility is a defined area where geological material, such as borehole core and cuttings are stored for future use or prepared for logging and sampling purposes. The infrastructure can consist of permanent buildings as found at a mine or of temporary buildings normally found at remote exploration sites where facilities are available to handle geological material. |
