    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
    The role and importance of the chip and pitch shot in the game of golf is explained with examples. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    The grip, posture, ball position, address, alignment and pre-shot routine in relation to the chip and pitch shots are explained and demonstrated by example. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    The basic technique of the chip and pitch shout are explained and demonstrated by example. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    Chipping and pitching drills to improve chipping and pitching are explained and demonstrated by example. 

    SPECIFIC OUTCOME 4 
    Demonstrate knowledge of the game and scoring systems. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
    The playing of a golf game according to the rules of golf is demonstrated by playing nine holes of golf. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    A nine hole competition is played demonstrating Stableford scoring. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    The basic rules of handicaps are explained in relationship to scoring methods. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    Golf strokes are reviewed and explained in relationship to the golf course and course management.
