PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This Unit Standard is intended for learners who are required to prepare a research brief for research that has to be conducted. This may include but is not limited to Public Relations and marketing research. Learners credited with this unit standard will be able to identify research alternatives, conduct a risk assessment and then make a recommendation for a research brief. Learners will also be able to define and design a research brief to meet the target audience.

Learners credited with this unit standard will be able to:

  • Draw up a research brief.
