PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This Unit Standard is for learners who apply knowledge and skills to plan, conduct and evaluate operational duties by making use of horses. The learner will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of command and control, assess accommodation while conducting rural operational duties and evaluate equipment for rural operational duties. They will also know how to assess aspects to be taken into account during rural operational duties and evaluate the logistical and other means of support.
