PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Learners credited with this Unit Standard will be able to prepare themselves for riding a horse on a sand track on their own and in pairs. They will also have an understanding of how the sand track affects the pace of the horse while being exercised.

Different types of sand used on training tracks are described in terms of their purpose and differences. |
