PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The learner achieving this unit standard in combination with other relevant guiding standards will be able to conduct a limited guided experience on horseback for up to one day (provided that staff to client ratio does not exceed 1 to 6) or to assist a Ride Leader on longer rides. The learner achieving this unit standard will be able to practice as an Assistant Ride Leader in a horse trail operation as a tourist guide in situations that require this level of competency.
