PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The qualifying learner is capable of explaining the Laminating process and his/her role in it, which is to produce laminated lumber.
The lumber milling industry urgently requires appropriately trained persons to perform the relevant dry milling tasks in its Laminating facilities. The achievement of this unit standard will ensure that dry milling learners are correctly trained and qualified to perform the Laminating process according to industry accepted norms. |
