PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The qualifying learner will acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes to coach senior athletes at club, provincial and national levels. They will be able to coach senior athletes in the javelin, discus, shot put and hammer by demonstrating the specific techniques and skills needed to coach in the throwing events at competitive level.
