PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is for learners working within a payroll environment, where the acquisition of competence against this standard will add value to one's job capabilities. The completion of this standard will provide the learner with an understanding of how a payslip is structured, what the purpose of a payslip is and the various components of the payslip. An understanding of the payslip will ensure that the learner is competent to handle the various queries that employees may have pertaining to the payslip.
