PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The person credited with this unit standard is able to check the aircraft altitude capability and on route climb performance and adjust the aircrafts performance to reflect the impact of aircraft weight growth. Learners will be able to calculate planning block times from the gathered data and identify any deviations from planned operating times. Learners will also be able to determine optimum cruise speeds and time related costs in order to optimise total direct operating cost. Learners will also be able to analyse and quantify performance level deviations and liable with relevant parties regarding the deviations.
