PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Learners credited with this Unit Standard will be able to understand the complex processes and procedures involved in the proper training of a horse in preparation for racing it. Learners will also be able to establish any defects or unsoundness in a horse and then formulate a feeding plan accordingly. Learners will also be able to sequence the exercising of the race horse in order to execute the training programme.
