This unit standard is aimed at individuals involved in controlling and maintaining of equipment and stores with regard to facilities used in outdoor adventure. Learners credited with this unit standard will therefore contribute to the maintaining of safety within the operational environment through carrying out equipment maintenance, repairs and recording of equipment issued and received.
