PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard will develop the competency of individuals who will be operating and maintaining cashier equipment related to gaming and casinos. It can also be extended to other environments where cashiering equipment is utilised.

On completion of this unit standard, the learner is able to:
  • Operate cashiering equipment.
  • Keep cashiering equipment in a working order.
  • Deal with faulty equipment.
