PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The purpose of this unit standard is to enable each learner to pace all blackjack games dealt so as to maximise revenue and enhance customer satisfaction. The individual should develop competent usage of all the relevant technology and perform all tasks of the dealing cycle in a quick and efficient manner.

On achievement of this unit standard the learner will understand and be able to:
  • Handle all aspects of the dealing cycle.
  • Adhere to blackjack dealing procedures.
  • Assist customers with playing Blackjack.
  • Understand the game of Blackjack.
