PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is for learners who need to plan for and handle bomb incidents in order to ensure the protection of property and safe evacuation of possible victims. This unit standard will enable learners to identify various types of bomb incidents and understand the procedures applicable to bomb incidents. This unit standard will enable learners to identify the required action steps to be taken to neutralise the threat while applying the safety requirements for handling bomb incidents.
