PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is designed for individuals who are working in a distribution environment according to the scope of practice regulations. It enables pharmacist's assistants to issue specified scheduled medicines or substances from a prescription or order and supply it to the authorised practitioner or pharmacist under the supervision of a pharmacist. The importance of accurate recording and documentation is also explained. |
