PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The learner achieving this unit standard will have the capacity to work within the relevant legislation, policies and guidelines affecting the work of a service organisation. A sound understanding of the organisational framework of policies, and the regulations within which the organisation works, leads to a better understanding of the roles of the self as well as others, with ultimate benefit to the organisation as a whole. Efficiency of the organisation is thus well served. The unit standard can consequently be expected to benefit the sub-field greatly and enhance operational capacity and understanding of personnel whose duty lies with the provision of adaptable services.
