    The actions and conditions pertaining to a safe, healthy work environment in the classification of material and the consequences of non-adherence are explained in terms of specified requirements. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    The importance of classifying material by means of a mechanical classifier is explained in terms of achieving specified production requirements and up-and down stream operational requirements. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    Hazards and associated risks pertaining to the classification of material by means of a winnower are identified through relevant risk assessment procedures. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    The actions to be taken should hazards and risks be encountered are explained in terms of specifed requirements.

    UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS 
  • Anyone assessing a learner or moderating the assessment of a learner against the qualification must be registered as an assessor with the relevant Education, Training, Quality, Assurance (ETQA) Body, or with an ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the relevant ETQA.
  • Any institution offering learning that will enable the achievement of this qualification must be accredited as a provider with the relevant Education, Training, Quality, Assurance (ETQA) Body, or with an ETQA that has a Memorandum of Understanding with the relevant ETQA.
