The skills, values and knowledge reflected in this unit standard are required by people in the field of Fluid Power Engineering who are required to specify filtration requirements for a hydraulic system in order to maintain the manufacturer's specified oil cleanliness levels. The learning outcomes in this unit standard contribute to the exit level outcomes required for a NQF Level 4 Qualification.
