PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard will be useful for people working in local authorities as environmental health practitioners charged with noise control. It will assist them in the investigation of proposed public events and granting of permission of such events. They apply the by-laws, which protect noise sensitive areas.
This unit standard will recognize the knowledge and essential skills required to evaluate the possible impact of an event and, when allowing the event, to minimize negative consequences to the community. People credited with this unit standard are able to: |
