PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit will enable qualifying learners to apply image analysis techniques in different contexts such as earth observation, intelligence, geo-sciences, geohydrology, archaeology, mapping of watersheds and environmental management. Learners will be able to view imagery under stereo while applying scaling and mensuration. They will also be abele to use elimination techniques. This unit standard supports the application of interpretation methodology and will allow learners to use and apply these methodologies in various contexts.
