The need for a health and safety policy in an organization is explained and developed. |

The impact and significance of a poor record of health and safety at the workplace is outlined. |

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 |
The recreation environment and identify potential hazards and risks in terms of safety to clients, staff, and other people who may come into the area are inspected. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 |
Prepare a report on the identification of the risks as per the emergency procedures and policies of the organization. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 |
Perform the necessary actions to eliminate or minimize the risks or hazards to meet the organizations safety policies and procedures. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 |
Interpret the inherent risks in the implementation of a recreation activity and judge how it complies with the requirements of the organizations safety policies and procedures, and the relevant legislation. |
