PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The purpose of this unit standard is to enable learners to be confident and present themselves on stage for full benefit of performance. It will develop the need to keep focus and "determination to succeed" (one of the most important assets in the Music Industry). Learning competencies that will result include honing personal confidence and developing pride, self identifying opportunities for the artist, networking and negotiating.
This unit standard will contribute to the development of the learner within the music field by providing recognition, mobility and portability within the various sub-fields of economic activity in the music industry.
