PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is intended for a person working on a food or beverage automated packaging line who is responsible for performing a shrink-wrapping operation.

A person credited with this unit standard can safely:
  • Prepare and start shrink-wrapping equipment.
  • Operate shrink-wrapping equipment.
  • Shutdown shrink-wrapping equipment.
  • Prepare for and perform changeovers on shrink-wrapping equipment.
