PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Fire cover is the basic first cover in most short term insurance policies. It is the primary risk covered by insurance and is compulsory in most insurance policies as most insurers insist on fire cover as basic in a short term policy. This Unit Standard is intended for managers of organisations and learners who manage asset risk in insurance and other organisations. It will be useful for Underwriters, Assessors, Claims Administrators, Intermediaries, Surveyors, Loss Adjustors and all learners in Short Term Insurance.
