PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Learners who are assessed as competent against this unit standard will be able to handle, transport, sore and utilize cement, lime, bitumen, tar and flammable gas on a Construction Site
It contributes to the development of a professional community of Civil Construction Workers. The contribution to The National Skills Development Strategy is the key developmental interface between learners and new competencies to be achieved. Previously disadvantaged persons and other learners who through recognition of prior learning will be able to be accessed against this standard and receive National recognition for their competence. This will enhance their employability and career advancement and contribute to the socio-economic transformation of the country. |
