PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The purpose of the learning is to:
Learners who are assessed as competent against this unit standard are able to; use and maintain basic hand tools, prepare a road surface and apply a bituminous seal. Previously disadvantaged persons who through recognition of prior learning will be able to be accessed against this standard and receive National recognition for their competence. This will enhance their employability and career advancement and contribute to the socio-economic transformation of the country. |
