    Purpose of selecting and spacing is explained in terms of the effect it has on the crop growth and final product.

    Hazards and their influences are explained and their effect minimised.

    Personal protective equipment is used according to company policy and/or legal requirements. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    Equipment is selected appropriately for the task at hand.

    Equipment is inspected for serviceability and corrective action taken in line with company specific procedures.
