PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is for learners to demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills to evaluate and use appropriate equipment and accessories for the socializing and conditioning of service dogs.

Dogs may include but are not limited to service dogs, donated dogs and puppies between 8 weeks and 18 months. |

Evaluate equipment for the handling of service dogs. |

Equipment may refer to but is not limited to leash, muzzle, choke chain, puppy line and harness. |
