PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is for persons who have the responsibility to determine the integrated radon gas dose using alpha track etch devices. Persons credited with this can:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the specified requirements pertaining to the determination of the integrated radon dose.
  • Plan to determine the integrated radon dose.
  • Determine the integrated radon dose.
  • Interpret the results and report thereon.
