PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The person credited with this unit standard will be able to understand exhibition services and be able to work successfully in the exhibition industry. The learners' overall understanding of exhibition services will assist them to build relationships with exhibitors and organisers in the industry and thus ensure the growth of the industry. Learners will also recognise and understand the use of the various services required in the exhibition industry.
The qualifying learner is capable of: |

Competence in Computer Literacy, Mathematical Literacy and Communication at NQF level 2 or equivalent. |
UNIT STANDARD RANGE |
Service suppliers will include but are not limited to: stand builders, contractors for carpeting/flooring, electrical, graphics and signage, shell scheme, furniture and equipment hire, plumbing, telephone and internet lines, registration, stand designers, audio visual, staging and rigging, cleaning, plant hire, security services and freight handling. |
