This unit standard intended for learners who deal with aviation insurance. It is an introduction to a highly specialised class of business in Short Term Insurance. The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Explaining the main aviation risks.
  • Identifying the types of cover available for aviation risks.
  • Distinguishing between categories of aircraft.
  • Investigating the aviation insurance market.
