PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The qualifying learner achieving this unit standard in combination with context expertise standard(s) will be able to facilitate, provide appropriate support and assist with the various project implementation requirements. This skill will enable the learner to act as the primary social facilitator and intermediary between community members and other project role-players using participatory methods where relevant. While at this level the person will work to a large extent on his or her own, it is likely that this work will be done under the supervision of a project coordinator. This will contribute towards effective sanitation project implementation and delivery of sustainable sanitation interventions to people. Achieving this unit standard will enhance the efficiency of the qualifying learner and advance his / her own expertise and employability in sanitation and other related sectors. |
