PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
Learners credited with this unit standard will be able to efficiently manage the hire fleet resources for which they are responsible. It covers planning to use the fleet they and their team manage, obtaining those resources, ensuring the availability of suitable fleet and monitoring the use of the hire fleet.
