PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
The person credited with this unit standard is able to demonstrate an understanding of company structures, a basic understanding of contractual law and an understanding of the layout and design of a hire contract. The leaner will be able to draft contracts for the hire of items to meet legal and organisational requirements

The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Demonstrating an understanding of company structures and individuals for contract purposes

  • Demonstrating an understanding of and applying Codes of Practice and Ethics relevant to contract management
  • Demonstrating a basic understanding of contractual law
