PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This Unit Standard forms part of the National Certificate in Auctioneering Support. The acquisition of competence against this Standard will add value to the learner and the auctioneering industry as a whole as it will also provide the basis for further development of the learner within the auctioneering industry

The qualifying learner is capable of
  • Describing and explaining different auction types
  • Describing and applying pre-auction requirements
  • Describing and completing auction documentation
  • Finalising auction administration and handling payments

    It is assumed that learners accessing this Unit Standard are competent in Communication, and Mathematical Literacy at NQF level 2 or equivalent
