PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
A person with credit against this unit standard will be able to identify and prepare materials, tools and equipment for production of craft products. This unit standard contributes to the competence of those learners who want to pursue a career in the Art, Craft and Design sector, and contribute to greater levels of production and quality in this sector.

It is recommended that the learner has completed ABET level 3 or equivalent with competencies in literacy, mathematical quantities and art skills and dexterity. |
