PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The person credited with this unit standard is able to prepare their workstation and client for theater make-up application. Learners are also able to apply fantasy make-up, character make-up and theater make-up while dealing with clients in a professional manner.
The qualifying learner is capable of: |
LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING |
Learners assessing this qualification will have demonstrated competence against the National Certificate in Beauty: Manicure and Pedicure or Aesthetic Consultancy or Make-up Consultancy at NQF Level 3 or equivalent. |
UNIT STANDARD RANGE |
Make-up outcomes are created using various putties, latex and make-up such as wounds, beads, building up of facial feature and application of false lashes. |
