PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard has as its core purpose, qualifying learners who will use a variety of technical, business, managerial, personal skills and strategies to manage the human resources in a mission office. This unit standard is intended for learners who need to understand the policies on labour relations and the LRP service conditions. This would enable them to maintain discipline and effective work relations.

Assessment methods and integrated assessment Ensure that assessment covers the specific outcomes, the critical cross-field outcomes and the essential embedded knowledge. Assessment activities should be appropriate to the context and tools may include self-assessment, peer assessment, formative and summative assessment. A range of assessment methods should be used, including direct observation, product sample, simulation, questioning (verbal or written) and testimony (portfolio collection of evidence). Integrated assessment: It may be more effective and efficient to assess a number of unit standards together thus reducing the number of assessment "events".
